if i had the choice i would choose elem over ESL any day. say i did do an ESL position and wanted to transfer, whats it to say they wouldn't want to transfer me to a reg classroom position (those are so easy to find employees for)?
i love teaching but i spoke to my parents and they said i shouldn't just do something as a crutch (im doing it because elem positions are hard to come by) because my hearts not in it...i know jobs are hard to come by but if my mind and heart isn't in it i can't even go through with the courses.

i turned down that job but in the future im sure districts will see that i have my CE in ESL (all you have to do is pass a written and oral test to get your CE)
