Middle School

Wow...a lot of people apparently don't like middle school, I gather. Actually, I'm the opposite - I'd rather do middle school than high school most of the time. Part of it, admittedly, has to do with the fact that the district I sub for has block scheduling for at the high school, and 90 minute class periods can last _forever_ if a teacher leaves bad plans. But even barring that, I'd still take middle school over high school if I was given an assignment preference. It might also have something to do with the fact that about 90% of my assignments this year have been at the middle school in my district - I'm almost as well known there as the regular staff, so I probably get more respect from the kids than if I was only there once or twice a month.
