I saw your sight on kicking the filing cabinet. Now I have the reputation of not only being a very mean sub, but now they think I'm insane! I sub in florida, and we have the automated system. It only tells the subject, the date, and location. It never tells what grade you are teaching. Half the time, they get the subject wrong too. I go in thinking I am teaching English and instead I teach subjects I have absolutely no previous knowledge about. Of course these are the times the teacher doesn't leave his manual in the room. I have a very loud police whistle, but I can only use it at certain schools.
