My teachers used to do the same thing with us. I remember one word she used was dictionary. Do you have a long last name? You can try that.

Other ideas are flash cards, spelling bees, multiplication bingo. Here is an idea that I got off the other board. Give each student a two cards. Each card had a letter on it. Say a word. The student holding those particular letters have twenty seconds to run to the front of the room holding up the letters, spelling the word.
