I've lost 2 principals that I adored. Not the same way, but, nevertheless, they were taken from my school. It's so hard! Especially when you know you have some of the same values and morals that they do.

However, you have to remember why you're a teacher. You're there for the kids, not those evil backstabbers. Unfortunately, I think they're everywhere. The ones that are there to cause a stir and use an educational environment as their only social life. SAD!

Your kids still need you and you can still make a difference. Realize who those mean people are and STAY AWAY FROM THEM. It's very easy to get sucked into the gossip and drama.

Do you feel almost abandoned?? That's how I felt. Lots of hugs.
