Clip to ScrapBook
I teach MS and still stand by my phrase, "if I can't say it, you can't either". Of course with MS that will often lead to a discussion about whether I say things outside the class. I tell them what's important to them is what I say inside our room.

I did slip about 2 weeks ago and tell a student to shut up. He had talked non-stop and I should have sent him out a half hour earlier, but decided to try and work with him. Finally, I guess I had enough. I apologized and we all laughed. I told him that even though I didn't use good words that was what he needed to do immediately!
