re: is teaching horrible?

I am working towards my M.Ed. w/ licensure in Middle Child Ed. (I'm in Ohio also, so am following new requirements) and am substitute teaching 3 days a week while I take 16 credit hours of class and work another| 24 hours at another job. Being in the classroom is the only thing that keeps me motivated to keep up my horrendous schedule. I absolutely love my sub. days! I wish I could sub. more! Granted, not every child is a perfect model, but most are so eager to please. There are a lot of us out here that love teaching, it just happens that this board is used a lot to vent problems and frustrations, | |
so that is what you hear the most of (I know, really poor grammar!). I don't think there would be as many of us in education if teaching were all that horrible!Best of luck on your new career!
