how different we all are--some of us totally comfortable with "flying by the seat of our pants" and others feeling "stressed" if the day isn't completely planned ahead of time (I confess, I fall more into that category!). I think it's remarkable that such different personality types can all be caring and dedicated and effective teachers. In the end, it's a good thing that there is such a range, as we all know that there is certainly such a range within our students!
