I absolutely agree with "signed out".

First understand that when a student says "that's so gay", the student does not mean homosexual. The student is referring to something as lame/ridiculous.

I do correct my students when they use an inappropriate phrase. But if I taught a lesson condoning homosexuality I would probably not have a job anymore!!!
