Clip to ScrapBook
I know exactly what you mean. Oh, I could go on and on just about the events of today. I didn't type nearly all of it. She "dissed" me in front of my kids once today over an incident with the computer speakers. She always
had to have the last word when I was addressing the students. In other words, she would have to add something that I forgot to say. When my students didn't answer her questions correctly she blamed it on me, out loud, in front of the students, for not teaching them the information earlier in the year (ha, ha just joking of course). She made bizarre statements in a lame attempt to
joke with the kids. She made a "verbal contract" with the students that they would all get a "prize ticket" every day if one particular student kept her desk clean, but if she didn't they had to give back one ticket for each day that it is dirty. Not allowed, by the way. I still have to tell her that she can't do that. I didn't do it right then because I didn't want to correct her in front of the students (what the he11 was I thinking)?

I just e-mailed her and told her all further teaching plans for her are off until after our testing week.

Teachergeek, my principal said exactly the same thing. How in the world did she get this far? He was mad at the college education department. He said he will be contacting them next week. He kept saying over and over, "She doesn't need to be in there." I kind of think he'll have her removed.

I mentioned in the original post that she was going to teach a lesson on global warming. Well, she didn't teach them a lesson. She scared the poop out of them. The only time they were quiet all day long was when she said something about a chunk of California is going to fall off into the ocean. I don't know.......
Somehow she was trying to tie erosion and global warming in together.

Oh, I forgot. She also managed to fit into the MINUTE math fiasco a little mini lesson on what all she will be qualified to teach. ?????????????
