Students with high self-esteem learn new mathematics concepts faster than students with low self-esteem.

Students who have better nutrition do better in school.

Students who are physically fit have higher achievement in school.

Students who can study math concepts with their hands have a greater understanding of mathematics.

(I thought thesis statements where not posed as questions)

here's another idea:

Teacher attitude toward learning math is key for students to also learn math.
