Taxes
By Anne

Clip to ScrapBook
I substitute and I do not have the luxury of health benefits. I can't even afford to have it. I should really look into some plan that I can afford. Any suggestions let me know! I do have a question for everyone out there!!
Do any of you write off your mileage if you travel to several school districts? I have asked my tax preparer and he told me that I could not. Yet I have asked some sub teachers and they have. I just got my taxes done and no refund for me. I actually owe $24.00, better than last year when I had to pay in $600!!! Being single and trying pay rent, car paymt and school loans makes
it so hard... if anything I need the refund.

Anyway.......if any one has been able to write off mileage let me know. I am also told by subbing in several districts and then only working 1 or 2 days in their pay period is also not a benefit because they do not take enough out. I am usually in 2 schools districts and I try to keep in that way. But I need to have a few other schools for back up.

Thanks!!
