Middle School is the worse!
By Michelle

Clip to ScrapBook
Poor Sharon, middle school stinks. You're a brave person to put up with it so far. As a middle school teacher, I know what my students are like when I'm not around to censor them. I have also subbed in a middle school for
1 1/2 days. It was a nightmare. It looked like something out of Animal House. I have never heard swearing like that. I watch HBO's "OZ" and that's pretty rauchy and scary, yet the MS was worst. I subbed in a school that houses 2800 6-8th grades. The LD & ADHD & ADD 8th grade was put in a hallway in the back of the school. The halls were policed below and above so the kids couldn't
come up or down. I was threatened, spat at, and yelled at. I said, "No Way!" The principal, oddly enough, met me at a career service night a month later, and he was chatty and polite. He was impressed with me and invited me to visit his school. I told him that I had been and didn't ever want to return.

You are a wonderfully brave soul. Good luck!
