Middle School/ administrators
By To Sharon

Clip to ScrapBook
I feel that the administrators are not backing you up. Instead they would rather fold their hands and ignore problems occuring in other classrooms. You need to learn as many names and document what happens. That way the regular
teacher is aware of what happens. Is this one class or several? There are many mousy administrators that do not command respect from the students. Administators should require indentification tags. That way you know who the student is. I feel your pain. In later years trial lawyers have often sided in with parents of hellions instead of supporting discipline in the schools. Another
thing that bugs me is that you cannot send a student to a time out room without first getting permission from a principal. Sometimes an IEP states a child has an abusive behavior he or she cannot help so there is NO pretense concerning punishment.
