elkonin boxes

I use these all the time with my kids. Go to carls corner (google it) and click on word way. choose a word family you would like to do and go to penny push ativity for that word family. (you will understand what I am talking about better when you go to carls corner). There are elkonin boxes for most of the word families. I print them off and make little books out of them for the students. They love them :). To start with we only do it orally, the writing of each sound is much later.
