monsters
By starsgrace

Clip to ScrapBook
I have them draw their idea of a monster in full color (not gory, more like monsters inc., you can read them There is Monster under My Bed)....after however many minutes, they write a three paragraph essay describing the
monster...collect the monsters -withtheir creators name and their monster name only -and the essays, with monster name only...drawings in one stack, essays in another

Then hand out essays ...and give them instructions that they must follow the written instructions exactly. No asking questions or redirecting...after a certain amount of time, i hand out the orginal drawings, calling
them up to compare and we have a funny discussion about details and valuable details....

I don't think i explained this very well, but i hope it makes sense...
