our district (2nd largest in state) bought a subscription for the entire district. it's great for our SMARTBoards. what's really great is that you can download portions/sections of the videos as well so you just get the piece you need.

i have downloaded videos on animal and plant adaptations that i use every year in science. i also have a rain forest video that i watch with a novel unit every year.

last week i had all non-band/orch kids in my room for 1/2 hour and decided to see what US had in the way of "archaeology" in order to make a connection with a guest speaker and a reading unit for the week---found a perfect video that went over how archaeology is like a mystery with detectives.
