Every teacher in my school gets an aide at some point during the day. We have 7 or 8 aides that are employed full time and they rotate classrooms during the day. Everybody gets somewhere around 30 or 45 minutes a day of aide time. Pre-school classes (by state law) have to have a full time aide if they have more than 10 students so all those classes have full time aides. We also have aides that are specifically for special ed. This year I have 3 sp ed kiddos so I get a sp ed aide for 2 hours a day.
