get on a list!
By Stacy

Clip to ScrapBook
Finish your Business degree, but get on a list at your college or one of your choice in an education program. I attended SUNY Brockport near Rochester, NY and got lucky that there were spots open. But now that people are hearing how needed teachers are, everybody is choosing that major and classes are over filled. Plus it may take longer than you thought. It took me 4 & 1/2 years and that was well planned out. If you have room in your schedule and still need to take "electives," take an Ed course! And sub and volunteer in the classroom. But also realize that teaching requires ALOT of overtime hours.
