Sped kids verses administrators
By To Shawn

Clip to ScrapBook
I guess when I have a Sped student that misbehaves and a sped teacher/principal that either ignores the situation or blames me I get madder at the adults than I do the special ed heathens! It is ridiculous that schools don't
have an EBD unit with an assistant when dealing with such students. I have had similar incidents but I usually get support from administrators. But when a sped teacher or principal makes snide remarks about how the situation could have been eliminated by proper intervention strategies I feel like kicking some butt! Until administrators and parents realize that certain emotionally behaved
students need an academic placement in another facility then this madness will continue. Shawn I understand your feelings. We have all been there-behavioral student acts up, administrators won't punish the student and blame the administrator. To me this stinks! The remarks from some educators can really burn you up! They won't to blame you instead of the little special ed darling!
