grades 3-8 test for ELA in January, math in march (this week for 6-8, last week for 3-5), ss in 5th is nov, science in 4 and 8 is June, ss in 8 is May. All the dates are very bizarre! I haven't figured out a reason for these dates. I do know they try to get the results back in time for the next year and sometimes that is difficult. Why it takes so long to get results back is something I can't figure out either. We grade them with a few other districts (all the tests are thrown in together). But we don't get the results, why??? And you don't see all of any kids test when you do the grading. This is how my district does it. We teach after the tests. Our curriculum for ELA goes Jan to Jan., math is March to March, etc. Of course that adds to the confusion.
