Principals are human
By Stephie

Clip to ScrapBook
I have seen both sides of the testing coin. There is A LOT of stress on EVERYONE!!! Unfortunatly, the stress gets pushed down the chain until it stops with the students. People do make mistakes and often times the reaction
is worse than the mistake. Teachers in the classroom have to deal with his/her own students' tests and answer documents. The principal has to deal with the whole school's tests and docouments. I have seen my assistant principal on edge during every test and it is because of all the rules and regulations that she has to follow. SPED, Dyslexia, read to, not read to, TAKS ALT, TAKS M, and
Form 1 types of tests. Not to mention what all has to be filled in on answer documents. It's enough to make a sane person get a straight jacket and sit in a padded room. Your feelings are hurt and your upset, but God willing and the creek don't rise (a little Southern humor) the sun will rise tomorrow and a new day will break forth. :s)
