neighboring teachers

I have had the experience with neighboring teachers coming in to my room. This happened to yesterday, truthfully, I was thankful. the class was so out of control, it looked like a zoo. I spent the whole day in that room| without any problems until my last hour class came in. This teacher helped me get the class under control and even she had a hard time and called security just like I did. The problem started at the very begining. I gave one student a pass for the rest room and five students ran out with him. After that, a commotion in the hall started. I went to the door to see what was going | |
on and 25 students literally pushed me out the door as I was trying to block students going out. I am only human and I am not Hercules. Three teachers, security, and adminstration had to come by to help out. The students were still out of control. I kicked ten kids out of class within the first ten minutes of class. No ripple effect occurred. Three more kids got suspended for fighting.Sharon
