Clip to ScrapBook
I found the same to happen to me while student teaching.

My suggestion would be to have a question asking time before you start the activity and let the students know that this is the time to ask questions. If later in the activity the students have a new question, then answer it so the whole class can hear, that way all the other students won't ask the same question. This will eliminate the amount of questions you'd have to answer. Also, if the students do not understand something have them have a "help buddy" who they can work with. Students learn as much from you as they do with their peers. Maybe they will understand the subject or lesson better by hearing it from a peer.
