I think I would have done the same thing especially after all the warnings you have given her. And since other children do not abuse the issue than I think you did the right thing. Especially since she left without permission. It would be a different story if she did not have the time prior to your class or if she had a real medical issue. She seems to be abusing the rule and other strategies have not been working. Glad you stood your ground. Keep us posted as to what happens.
