Students roaming the halls

Unfortunately Middle and High School teachers allow students to run the halls. Certain priveledged students are allowed to run the halls. These elite students may have a parent that volunteers his or her time to the school.
Certain students are allowed to go to their mom's classroom for example. I feel administrators and teachers should do a better job keeping students in the classrooms. Substitutes often allow students to go to the gym or another teacher's room. I wish all would work together to keep students in the rooms and out of the halls. Teachers and principals should ask a student where he or she

is going when out of the room. A paper hallpass with the name and signature of the teacher should be required. In order to have safe schools we must keep roaming students OUT OF THE HALLS and INTO the classrooms! Everyone must work together in order to make sure this happens. Some teachers tell subs not to allow roaming students yet when the teacher is present the students are always in the halls! This causes subs to have run ins with students! How can students learn if they are in the halls more than in the classrooms? Some young women will call for volunteers to come to their rooms to lift heavy boxes. Then other students think of a place to go. Then you lose half your class. How do others feel about this?
