I have not taught online but, I have taken an online class when I was in community college, and it was very self motivating. I was neat how you could join live chats and send in your homework virtually, but you had to go to school to take the tests. This I think might be difficult for children, because they need the skills in order to use this program correctly. Also I would think that their parents would have to be heavily involved in their education. However I have looked into this myself and it looks very interesting.
