I am taking a class right now where we are having the same issues. Unfortunately you do have to end the show each time in order for each student to hear the sound. I'm not sure if that is something they did not think to apply to the program when microsoft designed it? But for now we just have to deal with closing the show and starting it again in order for the sounds to work. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you but, microsoft has to change things on their end.
