strategies for the teacher
By suem

Clip to ScrapBook
A few years ago, I had an Aspergers Syndrome child, an undiagnosed ADHD and several children who will never grow up to be brain surgeons or chemical engineers. To keep my sanity, I took several days off going to workshops and conferences. I worked really hard with the students when I was in the classroom, but for me to keep my sanity, I would do a conference just about once a quarter. I don't know if my principal realized that was what I was doing, but it worked for me.

You can try all the strategies in the world for the student. I don't know if they will work for you or not. This is one that worked for the teacher!
