Miller has made a good point. These students become able to compensate for the lack for focus by using cooperative learning strategies if you get my drift. Isolate them for the purpose of focus and to give the other students a break from coping with their behaviors. This too shall pass, its hard not to become fixated on effecting a change. Just remember, they are yours for only 180 days. The need existed prior to you and will exist long after you.
