Clip to ScrapBook
You can do only so much. If the parents are in denial, there is not much you can do other than support the student in the classroom with classroom strategies for ADHD children. Go online and search for strategies. Don't stress out over it, because you already try the best you can.

I have been in this situation a number of times, and parents often don't wise up until it becomes painfully obvious that the child is not learning and that each teacher is saying the same thing. This may not happen until 5th or 6th grade or even later. Meanwhile, make sure you document every contact with the parents so they won't come back later and blame you for their child's failure.
