Our district has no cap on grades 4-6- i have 36 currently. Lower grades have up to 23. We have lost money because the state won't pay, but the office in charge of student services mismanaged the beginning of the school so now our general fund are paying for it. The rumor i heard was that the state is trying to "remodel" 20-1, using the rationale that smaller class size does not work, to do away with it or bump it up to 28. I don't believe that anyone really knows what is going to happen until it happens :(
