Consider graduated seating By musicbug

1. groups of 4 for the children that can handle small group work.
2. Seat kids in pairs role model plus studnet who needs one
3. Straight row or rows for the children who are not ready.
Then they can " graduate" into a new seating situation based on their own behavior. I have also removed children from groups or pairs as needed. I hope this helps. Good Luck to you.
