No- not Reading First

I appreciate the info on Reading First- but the program my school is looking at is called Literacy First. Some of the school in our county are already using it, but it is too early to see results. I have heard some terrible stories about the amount of planning and number of observations that are conducted. We are not allowed to use a basal text and from what I understand, Literacy First does not have a basal text either.
