Don't give up!!!
By BookMuncher

Clip to ScrapBook
You are doing what is right. You are really inspiring because you're not even considering changing what's best for kids in the face of some really tough inspections. I'll bet that parents also appreciate what you do and I KNOW that kids appreciate it. I can see why you are tired out though- it must be so draining.

I just bought Kozol's semi-new book, Shame of the Nation and maybe that's why your post inspires me so much. Because it's really really rare to find teachers who refuse to back down when they know they are doing the right thing. If Kozol read your post, he would say that you cannot give up.

I sing your praises!
