questioning can be tricky

i know that some kids really have a difficult time coming up with questions while they read... i think one of the greatest things you can do as a teacher is to do some think alouds- model questions before, during, and after. i also have to post "question" words- like who, what,when, etc.to help out my ESL kids come up with questions. i put up this information on my webpage to help my class and others understand the questioning strategy more:

you need to check out debbie millers book on reading comprehension- it is incredible!!
