Our school is usually equally divided with busers and pickups. This year was different. Out of 5 kinder classes we had 100 students that were pick ups. 3 teachers go out with that group. To help with knowing who is to go with whom, each student has a ticket.
The ticket is color coded to show whose classroom they belong to. On one side we have their name and a sticker. The other side has who is allowed to pick them up. They are laminated.
So, when we go outside with our large groups, each child must give to one of the teachers their ticket. This way we all see who has them and we also have | |
a list of who was picked up. When we have a leftover child, someone that hasn't been picked up yet, we can take them to the office. We have information- teacher, last name an who was to pick them up. This helps in making phone calls.
