Expressions Math
By Miss F

Clip to ScrapBook
I use Expressions in my school within the Milwaukee Public School District. I teach 2nd grade and this is the first year we've used it. I love it! It's very straightforward and easy to follow. It defnitely teaches the skills the students need for state tests and has them arranged in a logical order. You have to make sure ALL grades use Expressions, though, since each year builds on the previous year's learning. At first, it will be hard for the upper grades because they have no foundation and everything will be brand new. In about 3 years it will cycle through. Lessons can be very long, but you can be very flexible with what you want to cover on a given day with the time you have available. I highly recommend it!
