Pin The Tail on the Radius
By Mr. K

Clip to ScrapBook
I just draw a circle on the board and cut one inch strips of paper the radius of the crcle I have drawn. I put a small piece of tape on each end of the same side of the strip. i then blindfold each student in turn and play as Pin the Tail... The winner is the one who gets their strip closest to the center point while touching the circumference of the circle.

I am teaching fourth for the first time this year. I am going to attempt some of the activities to help prep them for next year. (Our stste testing will be just two weeks away at this point, so I don't want to do too much to confuse them.) I will read the book, discuss pi, and we will probably do the graphing and th e"Pin the Radius" game.
