We we also told that Virginia teachers would not be receiving a pay increase for next year. There is a website that you can go to that has a pre-written letter that will be sent to senators and congressmen regarding the need for support for teacher pay increases. Go to www.veanea.org and click on Action Alert. You'll need your zip code +4 digits to make sure it gets sent to the right place. It aslo lets you send an email with the website to 6 friends.
