to decorate for holidays as often as I can. If I can teach a unit that coincides with the holidays, I get to put up decorations that the kids made. For instance, for President's Day, we discuss Washington and Lincoln and work on our money unit. In centers we write about and make log cabins, draw pictures of Washington and write what we have learned about him. But if we don't get to the decorating, that's okay too. For me, its more about showcasing the kids work than looking good.:)
