Timer
By cinaminsweet

Clip to ScrapBook
I use a timer for when I do small groups and when I give the kids independent work to do. For example, I tell them they will have 15 minutes to complete a worksheet. I had a stoplight timer that I got free from Highlights magazine at the beginning of the school year that I loved, but then it stopped working after a couple of months and won't turn back on. Then I bought some dollar store timers, but they don't work very well and aren't loud enough for the kids to hear (even if they are very quiet). I've also used an online timer which I project onto a screen using my laptop and projector.
