I have done Pi Day

I read "Sir Circumference and the Knights of the Round Table." We also have a voluntary contest to see who can memorize the most digits of pi. We graph the first 100 digits of pi in bar graph form. I give them a local pizza place menu and we determine which is the best buy per square inch. We make pi necklaces using a student selected color pony bead for each number 0-9 they they string them and wear them. We also play "Pin the radius on the circle." (This was all with fifth graders)
