Hey, if the activities are fun and not
I just think in any state we are spending too much time on the test and not enough time on the enriched learning experiences you describe in your Survivor Week....shouldn't every week of school include those types of learning/teaching experiences. That is what makes a top 10 school. PI3= Program Improvement year 3 some schools sub groups are not making the AYP or API goals set by the Feds and State. 800 is the goal for all school on the API score, if we make 800 we are considered eligible for Distinguished School Status. Which sounds like your school already has. Don't shoot the messenger here. I think students should have quality, fun, hands-on learning experiences daily or at least weekly. I just see too many schools drilling on test taking behaviors in the name of good scores. Best of Luck to all in this years race for the top score.
