--Phone mom. "Sorry. Your son cannot come to school until he is on his meds."
--Call for a sub.
--Pray for a snow day...bet if he is home with mom for a day or two, she will get him back on his meds pronto!!
--Errands...when
he gets from your room to room A, room A sends him to room B, who sends him to room C, etc.
--Phone mom. "I need you to get that prescription filled as soon as possible and send the med to school so that I can take it!!"
--Have parents of other students in your class contact the principal and complain about the fact that their children's learning is being disrupted by
this students because he is not on his meds. It has been my experience that as soon as parents complain, action is taken!! "I was in Ms. _______ room volunteering today. ______ was so off-task/poorly behaved that he disrupted the learning for all the other children. What can you do about that?"
