Really???
By Rachel

Clip to ScrapBook
Are you sure they weren't just pulling your leg to get out of work? If you are positive they cannot read or write cursive then there is a big problem at the second grade level and all the way up. In the area that I grew up and that I sub in, kids learn to write and therefore read cursive in the the 2nd grade. By fourth grade all assignments have to be in cursive too. I don't know that there is anything you can do personally, maybe you could just make the powers that be aware??? Who knows, maybe they have taken cursive out of the curriculum.
