One year I had a child whose mom would come in once a week or so with food from Sonic. She'd bring her two preschoolers and enough food for the whole family. They'd show up in my classroom 15 minutes before lunch with the smell of french fries driving everyone crazy, especially a little boy who had severe behavior issues. I finally asked her to wait in the hall. Our school now has a policy against parents bringing in food. They can come eat with the child, but they aren't allowed to bring food in.
