Reproducible Worksheets
By Steve

Clip to ScrapBook
Do a search on the net for "reproducible worksheets" or just "worksheets", or "lesson plans". Educationalpress.com and rhlschool.com are two possible sites to look at that I've gotten sheets from.

I sub mainly at the middle
school level myself - most of the worksheets I've found tend be elementary level or elementary/middle school level. There's not a lot for high school level students.

I keep some copies of different kinds of worksheets on hand (some fun, some not so fun - like fraction multiplication worksheets :-) ). What I've done on occasion is told kids during study halls (or in-class worktimes)

if they are being disruptive that if they can't find something constructive to do, I'll give them one of my worksheets to do, and if enough of it isn't done to my satisfaction by the end of the period they'll get to stay after school with me to finish it! So far, I haven't had to carry through with the threat (which isn't an idle one) - it's always done the trick.

I'll also second puzzlemaker.com. I also seem to remember that there is some kind of puzzlemaker link through the discovery.com site, but don't quote me on that - seems to me I used it a while back but I haven't been back there recently.
