All of your ideas are wonderful. One thing that a teacher did for me was to have the students write down questions that they wanted to ask me and put them in a bucket and at the end of every day I would answer

one of them. I really like the idea for the end of the time though. I received throughout the whole time copies of things that my teacher wanted me to know or have for my own classroom and at the end he purchased a book for me as well as had each student bring in something they thought I would need for my classroom, they of course had a list that the teacher had sent home and had each

family sign up for things like scissors, fun markers, a plant, fun posters, teacher quotation books, paper clips, staplers...all the things that you think about buying before you have your own classroom. Hope it works out well for you!
