I teach middle school

and I completely feel for you. I do not blame you one bit for crying. Not one bit. I wish I could hug you. I know what eighth graders are like. That sort of disrespect is horrifying. I hope those kids did some ISS time for that.

An eighth grade boy told me not to f****ing touch him after I touched his shoulder and said "excuse me." I felt as if I had been slapped. Any student who would say that to a teacher is one inch away from hitting that teacher.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I am very angry for you. It really makes you wonder about parents, doesn't it? I hope you're feeling better.
